Kempsville Building Materials is a division of Carter Lumber.
You will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Designer in sales opportunities and completing sales with contractors, remodelers, and homeowners. This is accomplished by helping the Designer target customers, making calls, and assisting customers in a timely and efficient manner with their projects and related product knowledge.
Relationship Building Is Key!
- Collect and keep up-to-date information on customers’ product use and trends
- Assist the kitchen program to ensure that sales and profit goals are met
- Processe orders and ensure that materials are available for timely shipment
- Ensure customer satisfaction by assisting with take-offs and communicating scheduling and delivery commitments
What We Need From You
- Basic knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, and detailing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Basic knowledge of 2020 Kitchen Design program
- Perform detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to suit customer needs
- Strong math skills; able to calculate price quotes, discounts and percentages
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; verbally and in writing
